Antalya, specifically
- Kaleiçi, Lara, Konyaaltı: Strong 5G across the old town and the beach strips.
- The resort corridor: Belek, Side and Kemer are dimensioned for peak season and hold up well even in August.
- The Taurus mountains: Behind the coast the land rises fast. The road to Cappadocia and the mountain villages lose signal in the valleys, and the Lycian Way sections inland are largely offline.
- Düden and Kurşunlu waterfalls: Covered at the visitor areas. The lower Düden falls drop into the sea from a cliff and the boat trips to see them lose signal briefly.
- Boat trips and the coves: Coverage holds close to shore along a developed coast. Trips out to the further coves and around the headlands drop.

Will my phone get blocked in Türkiye? The 120-day rule
Only if you put a Turkish SIM in it and stay a long time. Türkiye's regulator can block a foreign handset's IMEI once it has used a Turkish SIM for more than 120 consecutive days without being registered and taxed. A two-week holiday never approaches that.
What matters is what starts the clock: inserting a local Turkish SIM. Using an international travel eSIM does not, because the profile is foreign-issued and you are roaming rather than holding a Turkish line. If you are here for a season, that distinction is worth money.
Where to buy a SIM card in Antalya?
Turkcell, Vodafone and Türk Telekom have counters at the airport and shops in the malls. Turkish lines need passport registration, and tourist bundles at the airport are priced accordingly - noticeably more than in town.
Is Turkish mobile data fast?
Yes - 13th in the world at around 179 Mbps, ahead of Germany, the UK and Italy. The coast is well served because the tourism industry depends on it. The mountains inland are the exception rather than the rule.
