Casablanca, specifically
- Centre-ville, Maarif, Anfa: Fast 4G and 5G. Casablanca is Morocco's business capital and the network is built accordingly.
- The Hassan II Mosque: Covered across the esplanade. Inside the prayer hall, less so - it is vast and stone-built.
- The tramway: Covered along the routes, and the easiest way across a city where driving is not for the faint-hearted.
- The corniche and Ain Diab: Well covered along the seafront strip.
- The train to Marrakech and Tangier: Morocco's rail network including the Al Boraq high-speed line holds signal for most of the journey, with tunnel gaps. It is the best way to move between cities here.
All of Morocco
The plan covers the whole country - Casablanca, Marrakech, the Atlas, the Sahara. Ceuta and Melilla are Spanish and need an EU plan.

Mohammed V airport
Mohammed V has free terminal Wi-Fi and a train line into the city, which is the sensible way in - the taxi negotiation at Moroccan airports is a well-known ritual and one you can skip entirely with a train ticket bought online.

Frequently asked questions
Where to buy a SIM card in Casablanca?
Maroc Telecom, Orange and Inwi have shops throughout the city and counters at the airport. Morocco requires passport registration for a local line. Maroc Telecom is the one to pick if you are heading into the Atlas or the south.
Does the plan cover Ceuta or Melilla?
No. Both are Spanish cities on the Moroccan coast, so they are EU territory and need a Spain or EU plan - crossing at Bab Sebta takes you out of a Moroccan plan and into a different roaming regime entirely.
Is the train worth it between cities?
Yes, and coverage on it is decent. The Al Boraq high-speed line runs Tangier to Casablanca and the conventional network reaches Marrakech and Fes, holding data for most of the journey with tunnel gaps. It beats driving, and it means you can work en route.
eSIM not working in Casablanca?
Inside the Hassan II prayer hall or in a rail tunnel, expect a drop. In the city, confirm Ohayu is selected for mobile data with roaming allowed, then toggle Airplane mode. Chat and support@ohayu.com are open 24/7.
