Ottawa, specifically
- Parliament Hill, ByWard Market, the Glebe: Strong throughout the core, and on the O-Train including the tunnelled downtown section.
- The Rideau Canal Skateway: Covered along the full 7.8 km when it freezes. Worth having, because the ice conditions and which sections are open change daily and are published online.
- Gatineau and Gatineau Park: Crossing into Quebec changes nothing for your plan. Coverage is good in Gatineau city and along the main park roads, thinner on the interior trails.
- Winter itself: Cold drains batteries fast - at -25C a phone can go from half charge to dead in an hour outdoors. Not a network issue, but it will end your day online either way.
