How does an eSIM work?

1. Check your device

First, make sure your phone can use eSIM. Most newer models already support it. You can check this in the Ohayu app using the Check eSIM compatibility tool, which points you to the right guide for your model. Download the app on your iPhone or Android, tap the gear (Settings) icon in the top-right corner, then under Help & Support choose Device compatibility.

2. Choose your data plan

Next, pick where you're going and how much data you'll need, whether it's for a short trip or a longer stay. All Ohayu country plans are prepaid, with no contracts, roaming fees, or extra costs.

3. Install and connect
