- Metro tunnels: Barcelona Metro has patchy in-tunnel coverage depending on the line. Platforms on Lines L1-L5 generally have signal, but mid-tunnel connectivity can drop on some stretches. The newer L9/L10 airport line has better infrastructure.
- La Sagrada Família & Park Güell crowds: Network congestion around major tourist sites can reduce speeds during peak visiting hours, particularly in summer. Downloading maps and tickets in advance is a practical workaround.
- Montserrat & inland excursions: Day trips to Montserrat or the Costa Brava interior may encounter weaker coverage in mountainous or rural terrain. Major coastal resorts and towns along the coast are generally well covered.

At El Prat T1, Vodafone has a store in the arrivals hall and Travel HUB is about 35 meters from the security exit past baggage claim. In T2, Tienda del Viajero is near the check-in desks.
